Open asks where from
The Open button offers the same choice as Save: a .schoolWords file on this device, or one of your cloud activities.
Opening replaces everything currently on screen, so if the activity you are looking at has unsaved changes you are asked first — whichever route you take.
The cloud list
Choosing a cloud service opens a list of your saved activities. It can be searched, and sorted by Newest, Oldest or Name. Each row can be opened or deleted.
Only .schoolWords files are listed. A picture cannot be reopened as an activity, and showing one you would click and be disappointed by is worse than not showing it.
Deleting from the cloud
Delete asks first, then moves the file to the bin in your own Drive or OneDrive. It is not destroyed — you can still recover it from there.
What happens to a reopened activity
If the activity was still open when you saved it, live updating resumes and new answers can arrive. If it had been finished, the cloud is shown from the saved data and nothing is polled — opening an archived activity should not start network traffic.
