Colours
Three sets, all of which meet the highest contrast standard against the cloud background. Choose One colour if a pupil in your class has a colour vision deficiency, or if you are going to photocopy the result in black and white.
No palette uses colour to mean anything, so switching between them never removes information.
Smallest and largest
The range of text sizes. Raise the smallest for a large hall; lower the largest if words are being pushed off the screen.
Sizing
Balanced
Usually right. Keeps rare words readable while still making the common ones dominant.
Straight
Size is exactly proportional to the count, which can leave everything except the winner very small.
Even
Flattens the differences. Useful when you want the class to read every word rather than spot the winner.
Tips
If a cloud looks like one huge word and a lot of dust, try Even sizing before you change anything else.
One colour is not a compromise — it prints well, photocopies well, and reads well on a tired projector.
