🌑 Light and dark

Choose Match my device, Light or Dark. Every combination is checked against the same contrast standard, so dark mode is a genuine alternative rather than a dimmer version.

The QR code is always drawn dark-on-white whatever you choose, because an inverted code fails on many phone cameras.

⏱️ Update speed

Update every sets how often the cloud redraws, from one second to ten. Slower is calmer to look at and gentler on an old classroom machine.

Pause updates stops it entirely. Both controls exist because content that moves on its own has to be stoppable — see Accessibility features.
